My fiancée and I just spent three days at The Dunlin for our proposal trip, and it could not have been better. From booking to checkout, the service felt truly concierge-level. Before we arrived, we were paired with an itinerary designer (Katie) who asked about preferences, dietary needs, and trip goals. That care showed up everywhere. We don’t drink alcohol, and the staff anticipated it at every turn with mocktail menus instead of cocktail lists, celebratory mocktails on our engagement night, and off-property reservations that included links to NA/zero-proof options. It felt like everyone, from the front desk to the dining room, had actually read our notes. On property, the details shine: a beautifully scented room, a next-level gym, and access to an AMG Mercedes fleet that made exploring easy. When we asked for a fire by our unit, it was roaring right on time with s’mores kits waiting. We biked 7+ miles of natural trails, spotted wildlife, and had top-tier spa services (even the product curation was thoughtful). The restaurant recommendations were spot-on; we also loved visits to Folly Beach, Kiawah Island, a local goatery, the farm stand, and shopping on Johns Island. Special thanks to the people who made this stay unforgettable: • Katie (itinerary/concierge): scoped proposal locations with my photographer, coordinated timing, even picked us up and kept the surprise alive. • Brad (Lynette’s, on-property fine dining): friendly, informed, and generous with local tips. • Josh (front desk): an absolute legend, handled texts for reservations, cars, and s’mores with effortless hospitality. If you’re planning a proposal, special occasion, or romantic Lowcountry escape, The Dunlin delivers luxury service, thoughtful personalization, and memorable experiences. We left grateful, relaxed, and already planning our return. Strongest recommendation.

We recently stayed at The Dunlin, Auberge Resort for our babymoon and left feeling completely relaxed and grateful. The property is stunning — serene, beautifully designed, and perfect for a peaceful coastal escape. From the moment we arrived, the thoughtful touches stood out: a complimentary bottle of non-alcoholic sparkling wine, a handwritten note, and the sweetest goat stuffed animal waiting in our room. Our suite felt luxurious yet comfortable — we especially loved the in-room tub and fireplace. The Astor Spa was a highlight. It’s calm, immaculate, and thoughtfully designed, and our massages were the perfect addition to a restful stay. We also enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub, fire pits, and easy access to water activities. Being able to text the concierge directly and use the complimentary Mercedes-Benz service made everything seamless. Dining at Linnette’s was excellent — warm service and beautifully prepared dishes (don’t skip the goat ice cream). Overall, the staff was welcoming and attentive, and the atmosphere felt polished yet relaxed. We would absolutely return — next time with our kids and our dog. If you’re looking for a refined, peaceful Lowcountry retreat, The Dunlin delivers.

Had a wonderful vacation here at the Dunlin. The property is exceptional down to every detail. The friendly service, the design of the rooms, the local snacks and drinks in the rooms, the complimentary vehicles, the food at the restaurant, the walking paths, the farm tour, the pools, the views and I could go on. I look forward to coming back again and exploring the property and its offerings more.

Amazing place! We went for our babymoon. They were so conscious of the fact we had a baby coming. Ava was an amazing host! Wish I remembered the servers name at the pool because he was on top of his game. Amazing place we cannot wait to come back as a family.

We celebrated an 80th birthday with the family for several days at The Dunlin. It was our first time to the property (pretty new property). Beautiful location especially for those that appreciate the gorgeous South Carolina coastline and wildlife. We had some truly tasty meals and cocktails. The rooms were impressive and we enjoyed several of their outdoor activities. Great experience and will certainly be going back.
